Our ability to prefabricate 401 holiday cottages, complete with joinery and facade finishes, and deliver them turn-key within just 18 months, showcases our commitment to high-volume, high-quality, and rapid construction. We're delivering serene, sustainable holiday homes, setting a new standard for efficient project delivery.
Project Overview
We were centrally involved in the development of Germany’s largest holiday park, Park Allgäu. The project kicked off in June 2017 with the manufacturing of the first two demo bungalows at the production plant. The 401 cottages are supplied as 2D elements, complete with PVC exterior joinery and a thermally modified wood façade finish.
On-site at Park Allgäu, MBS also handled the assembly of prefabricated bathrooms, stairs, fireplaces, and roof elements. This comprehensive prefabrication allowed for a clear assessment of the cottages' appearance and feel within their natural green surroundings. Construction work on the 401 cottages officially commenced in August 2017. They were produced in Genk and assembled in Germany at an ambitious, yet necessary, rate of two per day, enabling Center Parcs to open the park in the last quarter of 2018, effectively completing the project within 18 months on a turn-key basis.
