By engineering, manufacturing, and supplying 115 prefabricated 3D timber-frame extension units, our team delivered an efficient solution that added vital capacity to existing cottages in just hours, helping the park maintain its renowned allure and elevate guest experiences.
Project Overview
Center Parcs De Eemhof, a flagship 5-birdie resort, underwent a comprehensive modernization by the end of December 2019. This extensive upgrade not only revitalized the central facilities and the entire park but also brought its cottages (accommodating 2 to 8 persons) to new heights, offering Comfort, Premium, and VIP luxury levels. This ensured the park retained the distinctive allure and appearance for which Center Parcs De Eemhof is well-known.
For this renovation, Center Parcs De Eemhof commissioned MBS to engineer, manufacture, and supply 115 prefabricated 3D timber-frame units. These extra bedrooms were prepared fully ready-made in MBS's production hall in Genk, allowing for their easy and rapid attachment to the existing bungalows. This efficient method enabled 115 bungalows to receive an additional bedroom in just a few hours each, significantly boosting the park's capacity and guest offerings.
