Buitenhof De Leistert, a highly reputable holiday park near Roermond in the southeastern Netherlands, has experienced significant annual growth since its opening in 2011. For its latest expansion, the park partnered with MBS, which supplied 50 new holiday homes.De Leistert is renowned for its tranquil, authentic, and historic ambiance. While many of its luxury holiday villas draw inspiration from traditional farmhouses, the expansion also includes a substantial number of contemporary properties. As a specialist in holiday-cottage construction, MBS was involved in building all these various styles of property, specifically responsible for the timber-frame construction. Project developer Arcus Zuid and contractor Vlassak handled the on-site assembly and finishing work. The park's choice of MBS was driven by the guarantee of rapid build times, which directly translates to quicker sales and rentals for the client. The timber-frame construction method also offered significant economies of scale through serial production, effectively reducing manufacturing costs and spreading design costs across multiple dwellings.
