Our team is incredibly proud to have revitalized De Vlindertuin Nursery School. By utilizing prefabricated timber-frame construction, we rapidly delivered five energy-efficient, light-filled classrooms, along with dedicated play areas, creating a truly modern and nurturing environment for Londerzeel's growing number of toddlers.
Project Overview
On Wednesday, April 18, 2018, the new "De Vlindertuin" nursery department in Lijsterstraat, Londerzeel, officially opened its doors to a growing number of young pupils. The project addressed the urgent need to replace the school's outdated accommodation from the 1970s. MBS implemented prefabricated timber-frame construction as the ideal solution, providing five energy-efficient, spacious classrooms designed with abundant natural light, a covered playground, and charming classroom gardens. Each classroom was given a symbolic name—the flower, caterpillar, and butterfly classes—to represent the growth and development of the toddlers.
